So I have a day 2 rez, and my dealer sent me the order summary sheet on Jan 25. The priority code was 99. Order was for a 4 door Badlands/Sas/V6/MIC.

I emailed the dealer 5 times since I signed the summary sheet asking why my order status was 99. He never responded. I also never received the confirmation email from Ford due to the 99 status.

I sent the salesman a strongly-worded email a few days ago about me being unhappy with my order being held and assigned 99 status, and his lack of communication. He called me yesterday, and basically told me that his store is inputting every single order as 99 status "because the GM wants to review every order, and will input them/change status when he thinks Ford has the proper amount of parts on hand to produce the order". Salesman also said he has no idea when the GM will decide to change my order status.

WTF?

This is seriously not sitting well with me since this allows the dealer to basically pick and choose which orders get put into the system, and is ripe for shenanigans allowing the dealer to put in orders for VIPS or people willing to pay more ahead of people like me who have been patiently waiting.

Am I off base here?

Is it too late to switch to a more honest dealer since the March 19 deadline has passed?
@Administrator, we need to call out anyone and everyone to get on this issue.

Hope you agree

I did call Ford and inquire about the situation, and they said priority codes have to be changed by the dealers. She said there was nothing Ford could do.
Did you call the (800) 334-4375 (Bronco specific) number and explain your dealer is ā€œrefusing to submit and convertā€ your order?

For some context, priority numbers have historically been for the dealer to rank their customers orders (rewarding loyalty, etc). This is *not* how it works with the Bronco, but it sounds like the person you spoke to was replying with the standard ā€œtalk to your dealer if youā€™re unhappy with your priorityā€ answer.

Iā€™m not on social media really, but Iā€™ll help in any other way I can. What a sucky situation.
Things we can all do is look up Jim Farley and Mike Levine on Twitter and blow them up to start trending

So before I named the dealer, I wanted to see if this situation could be easily remedied. So i just called the Bronco hotline again, and explained the situation. The Bronco specialist was no help. She said again that they have no control over the order priority status numbers as they are dealer-configurable. She then said my next step would be to contact the regional Ford rep. But she refused to give me that person's name/number and said I have to go through the dealer to get that info. Unbelievable!

The dealer is Encinitas Ford.

I donā€™t have a Facebook account, but it looks like they do... and a Twitter account
Looks like a few twitter accounts that could be theirs. Careful.

@Axxlrod :
What is GM's name and Dealership address (so people can verify).
