Just picked up 2022 Black Diamond on wens. Make sure you check the radiator hose next to the serpantine belt (already on the OCD list, just surprised Ford hasn't addressed yet). Mine wasn't rubbing yet, but VERY close. Got a tie wrap from the service dept and a 30 sec. fix.

Mine was the same way.

Also, alot of the fuses weren't seated all the way in the box under the engine.

Oil level low. White paint overspray on passenger door handle and door, too.

Passenger door fit and fair had a tapered gap at the bottom, and the right rear corner of the MIC Roof is extremely close to rubbing on the body. Dealer said they tried, but couldnt, adjust.

Other than that, the Bronco checked out well!

Here is a link to the OCD (Owners Delivery Checklist) that you can use/print-out when taking delivery of your new Bronco.

The items in this list, all reported by Bronco6g members, are mainly Quality & Manf issues that can be seen during your acceptance. Members have been providing this list to their Dealers to use during PDI, with favorable results.

Engine Performance/Failure, Airbag Recall, Ordering, Dealer Allotment issues or complaints are not on this list.

Does the "38406" price protection certificate come off the MSRP at the time of purchase? My dealer is telling me that I receive it in the form of a check from Ford, some time after purchase. That doesn't seem right to me.

Off the top. Your Dealer must do it at time of purchase. Call Customer Support if your Dealer argues this.

One more item for the mechanical inspection checklist:

Check coolant reservoir cap to ensure it’s screwed on tight- until it click-locks.

Last week my 3/7 build sprung a leak under the reservoir (passenger side near firewall) after only 50+ miles, on an 84 degree day. I now feel foolish for taking it to the dealer, but I also had them check the clamps and hoses, since other helpful B6G members had reported issues.

Can anyone help me w/ the 22.5 increase/price protection? I know I should be getting the $1500 from MY21 to 22 protection for 4dr OBX but I'm not clear on if I should be getting additional protection based on 22.5 increase? I'm scheduled to pick up from my dealer this Friday (woohoo!) and really just want to have a solid understanding on what I should expecting going in...
