Whhats wrong with a couple 8" subs driven properly?

I was thinking of JL's 2 X 8" powered subwoofer box used as down firing. Just use the dimensions shown here and build the box around it.

Can I ask where you brought your power wire through to the cargo area and where you grounded your amp? Thanks

The easiest route I found was through the drivers side footwell, route the wire across the vehicle under the dash, then back through the passenger side wire tray under the door sills, and into the cargo area. There is an obvious grounding point under the passenger side cargo area plastic where the factory sub-woofer lives.

That seemed to be the most sensible route for me.
