Provided my dealer doesn't try any ADM shenanigans I'll take the Raptor. Any ADM and I want to figure out how to make them as uncomfortable as possible and certainly don't want them getting the Raptor allocation.

My dealer said I was the only golden ticket he was aware of at his dealership. I won’t have an ADM but all other Raptors coming through will. I think I’d be crazy to turn it down

I cannot believe for a minute that any dealers arent going to harass buyers with monstrous markups.. Ford notes at the bottom that the pricing is between you and your dealer. Basically dealers are going to do everything that can to discourage buyers to buy them so they can assume the allocation.. Its going to be really ugly.

My dealer has stated MSRP on any ordered vehicle, including Raptor/Shelby/etc. They are great to work with. If I decide not to go through with it for whatever reason I’d work with them to ensure they get the allocation to sell. They did me right on my first Bronco and so far on my first wave Lightning order, I’ll do them right.

Honestly I’m probably a flipper if I buy it. I like 2 door and manual like my current Badlands. I wouldn’t decide until after I drove the Raptor.

My dealer said today I get mine at MSRP as a golden ticket holder, all bets off for all other Raptors they get ahold of.

Fortunate to get the Golden Ticket. I will absolutely buy it. My plan is to keep and enjoy as I’ve been patient. My dealer also said he will order and sell me mine at MSRP. I did early on transfer to this dealer as they are a small dealership and I don’t care for the big one in the area.

It is a reference to the 1970ish movie adaptation of the 1965 Roald Dahl story "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". In it, there are factory provided and hidden tickets for a prize (tour of a chocolate candy factory). The reference typically means someone got very lucky in receiving a ticket or spot from a manufacturer for something very exclusive.
