Thanks. I'll check them out.Mudflaps, paved roads everywhere, or pits on the flaps...I.... I choose mudflaps. There are some very affordable and fully functional bronco mudflaps called Bro-flaps on Etsy.
Don Stroum is the fabricator and lives in Portland Oregon. Here is the front flap install link on YouTube, that probably has his contact infoThanks. I'll check them out.
They look like new after a week, no fading. It’s not a harsh chemical. Those are some great results!
Curious to see how this holds up after a week or two. Had this type of plastic on a previous vehicle and used every chemical and natural (including Peanut Butter, Not Joking) cleaning process/trick and it would always come back over time. The Peanut Butter surprisingly worked pretty decent but also attracted a lot of dogs and squirrels.
I scrubbed and scrubbed with soap and water and they would always come back.Good topic.
I’m holding off on using special products on the flares and MIC top until there’s a history of use with a car related product. Obviously that may take a few more months since the bronco is relatively new.
Until then - soap and water.
Nice!..Thanks for the updates. They look like new after a week, no fading. It’s not a harsh chemical.
Magic erasers are basically really fine sandpaper. They are awesome for a lot of things but I wouldn't touch a vehicle with them.Magic eraser works very well too.
Thanks for sharing! This will save me a lot of elbow grease for sure.As most of you know, it only takes a light splash of mud or a bit of wax to stain your unpainted fender flares. There are a few topics on this with many different product recommendations. In this thread I just want to share one such product that works pretty well for me and hopefully might spare you from some frustrations.
The product is Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and it works by penetrating the plastic and dislodging the dirt. I let it foam for a few minutes and wipe it clean with a cloth. Credit goes to my wife who felt sorry for me trying to scrub the stains off with every conceivable cleaner.
