couldn't you tap into the power for the USB cable in the same area? Don't know that much about USB and car cabling. issue with the wattage/amps being shared from the port and mag safe charger?

I wouldn’t want to mess with the cabling for the usb hub. That hub supplies the wired connection for CarPlay if needed. As a power test, I plugged MagSafe into the usb c port but it only offered enough power for standard charge. An error popped up on the screen saying accessory not supported, remove accessory.couldn't you tap into the power for the USB cable in the same area? I will be soon. POS is the perfect description for that thing.Id love to replace the POS wireless charger from ford that came with our lux package. Thing is absolutely worthless. Anyone swapped it out for something like this?
Guess i'm getting old, cuz i don't have a 3D printer...
- 3D Print your holder in advance and order all the stuff from the list.
- Remove the top console plate.
- Cut the hole for the holder and install the holder and charge puck.
- Wire and install the power source.
- Reinstall all trim panels that were removed.
