I'll keep my reservation and if I buy something else, when the Bronco shows up, I will either trade it in for the Bronco or tell them, "That's nice, now give my my Hondo back"

Which is widely understood to be inaccurate! The number of orders that will be actually canceled out vs harvested for saleable units by dealers…

I'm hoping between current orders and with recent changes we're making for customer orders that would rather expedite their builds with a MIC or a soft top instead of waiting for a hard top or painted that we'll have enough customer demand without having stock orders. They offered an additional mannequin unit that we accepted. I was confused as to why they offered that program, but after seeing this more recent email it makes more sense to me. I'm sure all of those will have soft tops.

Next time, learn to read the room better, and you’ll get a better reception and some more serious, contemplative thought. Most of the push-back you received would have never happened if you had posted to the “Master Cancellations” thread in the first place.

We have to have the unit for 6 months or 5,000 miles I believe before we sell it. Somewhere around there.

I've thrown around the idea of keeping the first mannequin. I'm not necessarily the sentimental (I'm not crying, you're crying!) type, but that is kind of a cool piece of history for our store. But if it ends up going for sale, that would be the timing.
