Maybe your original order never got connected with your reservation thus the reservation remained idle. You just did all the normal things someone ordered did thru all the yearly roll overs and such. Now that unconnected reservation was just cancelled.

In such a case it shouldn't affect you except the reservation may convey an earlier date for priority, but it is really had to judge that reservation holders really have gotten much if any priority. My order without a reservation got built much faster (built 4 months after order) than my order from a reservation (built 19 moths after order date, 25 month after reservation).

I received this same email today and I got my Bronco delivered almost 2 weeks ago.
Take the refund, fold it over and put it in your pocket...

I wish I had gotten this email and they would have mysteriously refunded me my purchase price. Ford's disorganization only seems to benefit Ford, would be nice if us idiots were on the benefitting side every once in a while.

Not the first time I've received a weird, seemingly out-of-place, and contradictory email from Ford. You'd think, though, if they knew that there was an issue they'd email out a correction statement to those affected.

But no. Here we are once again. Years in the making. Convenient in timing to force another convo with the dealer.

If I were a conspiracy theorist, (insert here) ... ;)

I received my cancellation email yesterday too and forwarded it to my sales guy.

My online account has been at "Ready to Order" for over a year now even so I placed an order through my dealership and have received official order emails from Ford.

The reservation fee is held by your dealer, if you need a refund contact your dealer.

Ford forwarded the deposit provided to make the reservation to your dealer.
