I have some bad news.

I was told today by my dealer I have a build week of 2/14. I have my VIN to confirm.

So here's the bad news. For everyone else. I ordered 11/27 with no reservation. Badlands, SAS, Lux, 2.7, soft top. The soft top makes a difference.

Edit: for all the people trying to make me feel stupid. I was just trying to point out how ridiculous the Ford order system is. Someone with no res like myself shouldn't have a build date.

I was also pointing out that the other constraints are not that big of deal by comparison

that's not "bad news", that's "old news". Been like that since summer last year, which is why I have mine since Oct and I love the soft top, would not trade if you paid me, so lucked out there.
Had no idea what I was getting into, never had a Wrangler. Happy as can be.

No, the worst thread in my opinion is the guy who posted today about how he's giving up on the Bronco because of the gas milage. Like, that's totally fine (hey, I look forward to a hybrid option myself), but...why does it need to be announced and discussed in depth. We've known what the milage is for a long time. Hell, all you need to do is look at it--heavy, powerful, gas-powered brick on wheels--to know that it's not gonna get the best gas milage.
