Jump ship to another dealer. Magic formula:

1) Find dealer that sells a lot of commercial trucks/vans/haulers/fleet

2) sells little to no passenger vehicles.. no showroom, no common cars on their lot (think, a lot of super duty’s, connects etc)

3) call ford and have them switch your rezzy to said dealer

4) get your bronco in 3 months.

5) Thank me l8r

I’ll probably check out the new Rangers granted that rollout isn’t a total disaster as well. I’m sure I’ll be able to get a 2023 ranger before I can get my Black Diamond 2 Door

I know about this time last year my dealer had over 500 reservations and when I asked him in jan how many 2021 Broncos they sold he said 58 and hoped to double that for 2022 so they not going wast or lose allocations and going takes the easy builds if they need to

I've been a silent reader here trying to puzzle pieces to have an estimate on my bronco delivery. Today I received a call from my dealer with bad news. I was told that I would have to drop something like 6 out of the 7 options I added on my outer banks:
2.7 L
Tow hitch
Sasquatch
Hard Top
and so on....
Which I know will delay the process. However, I was informed this time it will most probably hit 2023 due to supply chain issues. I appreciate the honesty of my dealership. I'm just curious. Anyone else receiving these calls lately?
No call from the dealer, but I’m hoping to get a ‘23MY with a painted modular top instead of this MIC disaster.

Have you confirmed this w/a Ford Bronco Specialist? I’d call the hotline.
Also, did you already resubmit your MY22?

Ask them, that's how they put it out there on B & P... Trying to make thing clearer for the newer posters, you know, contributing to the board...
B&P Says MIC Hard Top can’t get much clearer than that.

My small dealership called and said pretty much that I'd need to drop SAS, 2.7, and Lux in order for mine to come through any time soon. They have a small allocation. He said Ford recommended calling to inform customers.

If ford can’t build it the dealer can’t sell it and therefore can’t make money. Down the list you go. You want MiC and tow? That’s your prerogative to go to battle with the global supply chain, not the dealer’s.
That’s why I dropped tow. It’s not dealers fault but they are not happy with ford either

I'm a pretty late reservation actually: 10/27/2020
However, the dealer told me that I was 5th in line for the 2022 models and didn't have to change to a soft top to fasten things up.
my reservation is about a year after you and I have a build date of 3/22. BL, Soft top, tow, lux.
Date Keeps getting pushed back, back that is pretty normal. I think your issues might be dealer allocation.

So there is a commercial Ford truck center about 45 minutes from me. Are you saying I could order a Bronco from them???

I was kinda just joking in jest, because it’s worked for several people I know, and me (hopefully here soon). But it all comes down to allocations, call and ask if they have a bunch of allocations, if they aren’t forthcoming, probably not. But it’s worth a shot if they do 😊

I have a doctor's appointment Wednesday not too far from them. Guess it's worth a few minutes of my time to stop and inquire.

I would dump the tow (you can get a hitch any time and you probably don't need the brake controller wiring)...MIC and SAS I would keep also because it seems that those commodities are not as dire as others.....If you have a 2Dr on order I strongly advise rethinking the 2.7 vs the 2.3. I attended the Off Roadeo late last year and drove a 2Dr SAS with the 2.3 all day and was VERY impressed with the power and torque....went everywhere up and down the rocks with the 2.7s all day. This site has awesome research done on the 2.3L in it.....That's my 2 cents....and, BTW I am putting my money where my mouth is because I have ordered and OBX also and I made these changes myself....

If your order gets accepted by Ford does that mean dealer had allocation? Or does allocation come into play in getting a build scheduled?
