These things are going to have some real issues in 24 months.

Bestop already has the sunrider feature available. I ordered today. Obviously I’d prefer a sunrider that folds back to over the rear seats as well but for now this will suffice.that would be unacceptable and Ford and Webasto know it. I'm happy I switched to soft top (and don't give a flying flamingo about the plastic windows being wavy) and personally hope for a MIC in back, soft top in front solution from either Ford or aftermarket down the road. I like the looks of the MIC top and have no doubt that none of you will get a thing like this in the photos, so all this outrage is wasted time and energy.
It's labeled a "bad top" for a reason or two...
That's a wonderful quote I'm going to port over into my professional life!Don't wander around the cutting edge without a good supply of bandaids.
So I found another Bronco instead in Auburn today. Looks like the top was touched up by QC along the edges.Wow not good. I am driving by LaGrange tomorrow. I am going to stop by and take a look at the top.
As opposed to unsmashed? Or uncanned? What quality of assholes is going to make this OK?Wow, that looks like a can of smashed assholes.
@Rick Astley 's signature move, the sharpie fix!So I found another Bronco instead in Auburn today. Looks like the top was touched up by QC along the edges.
Top overall was in great condition; however you could see some issues on the cut edges were we could see layers on the one in LaGrange. See pics below.
Top was acceptable to me. The black color was lacking thus the QC applied black marker.
could have been the dealer. You are correct they did a bad job. What the!!! I could see using a touch up paint at factory, but that does look like a Sharpie! Not even a good Sharpie fix either.
This is specifically why I ordered a soft top. I firmly believe the hard tops are such a mess that Ford will discontinue them and move to the MOD top in the future.Does anyone think Ford might sunset the current MIC top at some point, in favor of the MOD top, or some new top version? It's been a growing suspicion of mine, due to the ongoing issues with the top and the manufacturer. The rumor of an upcoming new rack with different mounting design, not compatible with the old top, indicates some things in flux. Just a hunch. Got to think Ford has at least had some discussions of contingency plans for the next couple of years.
