How are the CV's? Any noise or clunking?

I installed the 29 spline ones on my First Edition and they clunked, clicked and growled. When I talked to the vendor I got them from he said they were having complaints from a few customers with the same issues. He said the 32 splines were not experiencing the same issue.

I ripped mine back out and I'm shipping them back.

Mine don't make any noise. Did you also regear or replace the FDU with a spicer?

I left the stock front M210 in place and left the stock gearing in there. Just installed the 29 spline Spicer CV's.

I'm pretty happy with it on 37"s with the stock gearing. If I end up doing the Spicer FDU i'm probably going to leave it the stock gearing

Just trying to get things lined up for my swap. I'm going from a M190 with FAD and no front locker. Sounds like procal tune will take care of everything FAD related, but how about wiring for the front locker?

I plan to use an aux switch for the relay, but wondering if you wire the locker direct to the battery or if it has to tie into the vehicles computer to work correctly. Anyone wire one up that did not have one before the switch?

@tomsoffroad76 has a wire pigtail / factory plug kit for this exact reason. Hit them up!

Just curious. What is 32 spline? The diff itself, or one or both sides of the CV's? (or all of it?)

The inners are 32 spline at the diff. Also the stub axle is 32 spline. The axle bars inside the CV are 35 splined. The wheel end of CV is factory splined into hub.

I added some swaybar spacers, after centering the sway bar...the OEM swaybar bracket clamp stoppers allows too much sided to side shift. This was allowing my new spicer boots to kiss the end of the upper swaybar link under full droop. Mine had shifted 3/4"to one side....

Ford uses toooo long of a bolt and deep nut on the upper swaybar link...here's pics.

The spacer pulls the threads and new slimmer nut 1/2" back away from. The boot.
Problem solved.

(y) I was just looking at that. For us lazy folks, where did you source the spacer?

There might be 100 lbs of extra weight on the Bronco from all the extra threads hanging in the air. If I was a few years younger and more energetic I'd be going around the vehicle with a Sawzall and grinder shaving weight like I did in my bike racing days.

Yukon has the 5.13s for the M220. Is this the correct kit and all I need (plus gears) for the install?

Yukon gears have developed a horrible reputation....I highly suggest spicer instead.

a quick Google search will reveal Yukon gear manufacturers issues and thousands of failures.

Hey does anyone have the Forscan instructions and code to change the gear ratio?
