My 2008 Suzuki SX4 had it...

Don’t know if my Jeep does. Not sure where the doors are to check.

Does the base fob have an unlock button like every other fob I’ve had? If so, I’ll do just fine.
Yes. The standard setup gives you a normal key fob and push button start.

Bummed my base Bronco won't have the keyless entry, thats one of my favorite features on my Acura right now. Its one of those things that doesn't seem like much, but makes life so much easier.

Base is still keyless entry. You just have to use the key fob button instead of the door handle button/touch thingy.

I think it's keyless, just dumber than the intelligent way

I dont mind the intelligent access, but I'm not a fan of the push button start. I'm a relatively young guy that enjoys technology, but theres something about turning a key to start an engine that seems more enjoyable to me.

It is definitely a nice feature to have, especially when it’s raining. I have cars with it and without it. What really trips you up is when you switch between them and you just start yanking on the door handle to open it.

I’m an old guy. One of the first vehicles I drove, well before legal age, was push button. Was a pretty common mod on the farm back in the day.

We have it on our 2020 Explorer. Grabbing the door handle to unlock is very reliable - i almost never reach into my pocket to press the button the remote.

Throw in the remote start system in the mid package and you can start your car with your phone from anywhere. Arrive to your car with the AC on in the summer or the heat on in the winter.

An option you will learn to love
