With all of that, we put Chicken's First Edition Bronco 2.7L, that we installed the JB4 on in the previous video, and on the Dyno, it made impressive numbers with JUST A TUNER. This truck was totally stock but now, has woken up with the power of the JB4. With this simple bolt on, your truck can go from no show to ALL GO!

I didn't log boost on Map 5 but per Burger Motorsports they say Map 5 is an increase of about 6psi over stock.

The JB4 isn't traceable from a scan as it's a piggy back module and doesn't flash the PCM. Not to say a dealer can't question what you did to the vehicle in the event that something happens though. That's just the risk we take when modifying vehicles from stock form. In reality though most of the failures which are minimal most likely had issues from the plant from the time the vehicle was produced.


If it's a dud, it's a dud and nothing can really change that.

93 octane for baseline and maps 1-3. Added a half a can of Boostane for maps 4 and 5.

How do you change maps if you don't get the bluetooth dongle dealy? can you pull the app up on the bronco's screen (that'd be sweet) thru bluetooth, or does it connect to one or the other only?

To be able to change maps you have 2 options.
1. Purchase the data cord and use a laptop with the free software from Burger to be able to access and use all maps.
2. Purchase the bluetooth connect kit and the app from Apple or Android. Then you have access to all maps and the ability to use the phone app for switching apps on the fly as well as datalogging capabilities.

If you don't purchase the data cord for laptop use or the phone app you will always be in map 1 when the JB4 is installed.

What are the potential risks if any with doing this? Will / could it affect longevity? Much impact on MPG? - it'll make you stomp the pedal more I'd assume...
