“Yeah but it’s not that great probably expensive.”

“Well what else we got that will steal some thunder?”

“....”

“....aaannd send.”

1 0-60 is ~5s and 450lbft. That’s probably ball park what the 3.0 Warthog Bronco will do with 415lbft. Both will be limited to 120mph because tires.

So it’s just a concept that will likely be well over $70k starting. Have a horrible death wobble.

the Die hards will get it. But going off how many more Explorers St I see vs SRT Jeeps.... ford has nothing to fear

turning radius of a battleship. I do like that top though - I hope the Bronco one opens up like that - but with hard panels on top instead of the fabric

Holy Tire Rub Batman, I bet that tire is turned to full lock already.
exactly what i thought as soon as i looked at the tires... they need way more clearance if the want t even do anything. tires are too big for the jeep

450 ft.lb of torque.
3.73 gears
37" tires
Dana 44 Axles

Wait? Dana 44 axles?

That seems to be outside of the recommended usage of those axles. No?
I realized the Ecodiesel puts out almost the same torque, at 442 ft.lb, so they've obviously done a fair bit of testing at those torque levels already.

Not only this cheap trick of a Wrangler with only Dana 44 axles, but now they’re offering a diesel finally in the Gladiator so it can actually tow something useful. Sad on Jeeps part since their buyers have begged for a V8 and Diesel forever.

This only shows that Bronco has struck a nerve and FCA is losing sleep. Wrangler sales will take a serious hit.

What a nice rivalry this is shaping up to be just based on a reveal. Means Jeep spies have already seen the mother load of info and are reacting. We are in for quite the show tonight!

Scared and trolling much?! :p

Well goody for them... Ford released the Bronco concept back in '04? Took them another 16 years to produce it. So by the time Jeep has this engine in a production model, Ford will be banging out Full Size Bronco's (in addition to today's model) with the 7.3l in them. Yay for Jeep LMAO

I like how they post script everything with "concept" and Ford uses "CGI" as their post script - what happened to honesty and real photos ?
