I finally used the tight turn button for fun yesterday.

I was in a snow covered parking lot.

At a mall.

I was only driving about 5mph.

To redeem myself I took the unplowed exit that had a 4' tall snow pile covering it to leave.

Then I drove it to a car wash to clean it off.

Does Canada have places to ride? The entire county is like one giant forest and it’s a lot closer than UT. I always thought Canada must be a outdoorsman paradise.
I worked in BC for about 6 months, Northern BC is possibly the most beautiful place I have ever been.
And yes, Canada has wheeling.

There just aren’t many decent trails is socal due to the population density.
There's all of Joshua Tree, Mojave, Big Bear, Johnson Valley, etc.

But over by the coast - yeah, not much over that way. And for living, the choice is either "population density" or "literal middle of desert wasteland"

I live in CenCal - Fresno is the nearest city and has a decent airport to get in and out of. We have good wheeling really close - Dusy Ershim is right here, and it's a day trip to get to a lot of other world-class trails like Rubicon, Pismo or Johnson Valley. Not nearly as populated (or expensive) as SoCal/Bay Area... but it's still very much California, and you have to accept all that that means (doesn't mean you have to like it though).

Anywhere but AZ. We've had enough of an influx of people that don't bring a lifetime of water with them.

Seriously and sincerely from a 3rd gen native.
Sounds like what 4th gen Arizona natives would say when 3rd gens moved in.

Almost any town/city in New Mexico - besides Albuquerque, which is a big city with big city problems (though folks make it work) - qualifies.

However, I should be honest and tell you that for most of us in the west we would rather you stay where you are. Too many places (Denver and adjacent front range for example) are no longer recognizable, not merely because of the population but because of what those from the Midwest, East & Cali bring with them. You probably already know this but just in case
I totally get what you are saying, I don't want more neighbors either. But please don't lump Wisconsin in the east coast or California.

Yeah, we're being overrun with the good folks from Illi-noise over here, just to the east of Chi-Raq.
You can spot them living in the fast lane ... going slowly. HA!!

I haven't heard much lately about those handful of counties that want to secede from Illinios to become Hoosiers. LOL!

I currently live in Wisconsin. The off road opportunities are few here. I travel with the wife once, maybe twice a year west for Moab, Ouray or other ‘real’ jeep trails. We have been on quite a few BOH trails along with other greats but our truth is maybe 90% mall crawling. It’s not our fault rather an access issue. We hope to cure this with a move west in the near future. Looking at Grand Junction, CO. Maybe Montrose.

Any suggestions on where to move west for great wheeling access, please I’m open ears.
Grand Junction has very little going for it outside of being a fairly decent size town pretty near a lot of outdoor recreation (Grand Mesa, Moab, Uncompaghre, San Juans). It's essentially a suburb that's nowhere near a real city. If that's what you want, though, it's a good choice.

Montrose is a lovely little town nestled in a valley near the foot of Mount Sneffles. Great place if you're looking to retire or have solid remote work (or if you have a profession that fits with a small largely retirement community). Also apparently a great place to live if you are worried about nuclear fallout, hah.

Both are close to some world class off-roading though.
