First time w our Badlands 2Dr on serious trails yesterday—had a great time, very impressed w the capabilities of this truck—and got locked out of shifts except gears 5 and 6. Had been going for 2 hours, not over-doing it, just dealing w some mud. Got “stuck” for the first time in 4H, easily got up and out in 4L. Stopped—put it in neutral—to complete the shift from 4L back to 4H, and tried going to first, could not move shifter left at all. No 1st or crawler, also no 3rd or 4th. Could get 5 and 6. After a brief panic, was able to slam the shifter left and drove another 20 min to get out of the park, no problems; also no problems getting home over paved roads, regular shifting.
Anyone have similar lockout problems shifting their MT?

The shifter is cable operated. You must have got something in the way of the mechanism under the vehicle. I haven't seen what it looks like yet, but I'll take a look when I put the skid plates on.

Makes sense—felt like something was blocking the gate, and I dislodged it when I pulled the shifter hard enough.

I had troubles getting into 3rd when I was just driving around town normal. Has never happened since. I wonder if one of the parts just has some factory burrs or something. Shifts pretty smoothly otherwise.
