A lot of words and posts for “I don’t know “
I doubt you'll find an exact number because life is not a laboratory. The way you load your vehicle, the amount of fuel onboard, how heavy you and your passengers are, etc. All will change that laboratory clinical number. This doesn't factor in driver inputs one tiny bit either. How the driver uses the gas pedal makes a big difference in results.

Good luck in your adventures, hope you don't find that magic number the hard way. (y)

I had mine at 20deg the other day passenger side roll. (The video shows it well)

And rearward at 42deg

Forward at 33deg

I looked after doing that and couldn't find the info.

What I can say is the little bronco that tells me my degrees stayed in the green I was trying to see if it would change colors.

Favorite part of the video… “do’ it look pretty cool?” Half of my life spent quietly asking the same question. 10/10 would recommend!

This is a dumb discussion. "It depends" is the only answer.
There are no dumb questions… geesh. Especially when trying to figure out, “Am I gonna roll this Bronk” . I’m gonna be that guy on the trail asking a thousand questions. Better to learn from the experienced, versus experiencing destroying your vehicle . And I understand the answer of depends, but that is equally a harsh and uniformed answer.

How many horses — depends :/
How much? — depends :/
How long did it take to get? — depends :/
What’s your IQ ? Depends :/
A person with all the answers doesn’t necessarily know all the questions.

Rearward breaking? <tipping over backward>
Forward breaking? <tipping over frontward>
Driver side rolling? <tipping over drive side>
Passenger side rolling? <tipping over passenger>

I’m dumb then because I just want a starting point. I’m smart enough to account for changes from the baseline but you def need a baseline to start from.

.. The practical usefulness is very limited.
There are many times in hard core crawling you have to stop and are teetering VERY slowly sideways or diagonally. A higher actual tipping angle is highly useful in these situations (yes I understand any accelerations will change these numbers from slightly to drastically but I'm talking when accel's are low or none).

A heep having being smaller overall, and having a significantly smaller body structure (especially actual body width), is most times going to beat the bronco.

I was referring to the practical use of the number itself, but yes, you are absolutely on the money with that... the numbers are good for a baseline and to compare as to how other vehicles in similar situations may fare.

4 DR SAS will do at least 24 deg drive or passenger side as they have us try it on a obstacle at Moab Off-Roadeo . The instructor knew the hill could get you 23-24 deg if you really tried and the Bronco had no issue and did not feel unstable at all.
