Mirror whistle - Aftermarket options?

My base Sasquatch has a bad whistle coming from the mirrors, especially the driver's side when going over 45ish mph. The sound virtually disappears if I fold the mirrors in.

I spoke with my dealer about addressing the issue when I bring it in for my first service. They told me Ford is aware of the issue but have no solution and don't know when they will fix it.

It's driving me nuts! Does anyone know of a fix or aftermarket mirror that will help?

A strip of black hockey tape from about half way down the side all the way underneath along the seam. It's not ideal, but it works until something better comes along. The hockey tape sticks well compared to electrical tape and blends in.

I just saw a Bronco yesterday with vortex generators molded into the side mirror housing that Ive never seen on a '21. I had to pull away at the stoplight, so I don't know if it was a manufacturer vehicle or a running change that has been made.

Ford corrected the mirrors by adding darts on the side of both mirrors. The TSB should be to replace those mirrors with the '22 mirrors

yea I rented one and stuck some black electrical tape along the seam for the few days I had it..

Our '22 BL-Mid doesn't have those.

I remember seeing this.

But mine was not built before June 2021. (I mean, whose was?) And it's still doing it.

I kinda forgot about it over the winter, but now that it's getting nicer out again, I have my windows open more, and it's annoying AF.

I have this issue as well, on my 2021 Big Bend, especially noticeable on driver side.

Mine is really loud on my 21 BL drivers side, almost unbearable! I thought it was the seal on the MIC top but couldn't find any gaps. After reading this I rolled the window down and realized it's louder outside then it is inside, must be my mirror! These should be replaced under warranty. Thanks for helping with the troubleshooting!!
