and when someone gets in a wreck caused by their ACC not working right, and their insurance won't cover it, they're pretty screwed, all because they installed this intercooler.
Then, they shouldn't have installed the intercooler. It's on the vehicle owner to understand that aftermarket parts sometimes don't work well with factory systems. Anyway, if a driver isn't alert enough to realize ACC isn't working, they shouldn't be driving.

If the ACC RADAR Sensor is blocked for any reason, snow, road debris, or like in my case, relocation to make room for a winch bumper, the Cruise is turned off. You then get a warning message in the middle of the dash, which you must clear with the OK Button. The Grill camera, bumper sensors, and the RADAR sensor make it very difficult to change anything in the front of the vehicle.

Were you having issues with your trans? Over heating, etc., on trails, pulling trailers?

I'm running the older model 12K that is 20" wide. First thing I checked to see if it would fit between the bumper pads. I had not realized they upped the width of the new models. You might still be able to "massage" the pads to fit a new model in there it is only a half an inch on each side. Those pads have some room for that. TBH, those pads could use some reinforcement as well once they are "clearanced". Have you seen the DV8 tow video???

Wow glad I found this thread. I’m looking to do the exact same project for a hidden winch mount. I was looking at that warn 9.0rc winch but have you found any others that would fit? I was expecting more clearance between the intercooler tubes…

I think that's the narrowest one and likely the same one I'll buy.
