OMFG!!! I hope you didnt have to replace the starter. I just spent like 5 hours on a starter for a 3.7 liberty. It was a freaking nightmare. A starter should be like maybe a 3 wrench 20 minute job. But I had dozens of tools out on that one. removed the driveshaft and the exhaust and 2 heat sheilds and still had to do everything by feel. Sure its fun and peppy and decent offroad. My driveway is a good benchmark for capability. But that sucked. yeah the transfercase is sticky and the window motors or tracks are junk. Decent car but troublesome for sure. I feel they could be decent if you modified everything on em. But really thinking about my old cjs I guess thats what a good jeep is all about.I’ve been burned by Chrysler too many times to ever trust them again. Biggest one was a 2006 Jeep Liberty. That horrible 3.7 went at 140k. Transfer case always got stuck. Window never worked. Alternators kept dying. But it was a fun little suv.
