It appears that they used both Lightning Blue and Velocity Blue body panels.

i agree, but something is up especially if he found glass inside. I’d want someone to answer some questions.

Did you put new tires on it already? Or did Ford start putting BFG’s on Broncos and I missed it? (I know raptor has BFG)
the factory 33's and 35's are have always been BFG's.

Seeing as Ford has no quality control integrated into their manufacturing process and seems content to slap the Ford badge on whatever happens to fall out the far end of MAP, I think you are more likely to get a satisfactory result with the dealer doing the respray rather than the factory. After all, the factory already refurbished this vehicle and it is acceptable in their eyes (or lack of eyes). That sucks and should have never left Ford like that.

Maybe they could airbrush a fade from one blue to the other? No? OK, nevermind...

So my guess on the mix match that I’ve seen on the two-door bronco’s. I believe that the door is painted in a different area compared to the rest of the vehicles if you do a check (mils [Thickness])on how much paint is on the door compared to the body you will notice that the body has less paint than the doors. The doors to me seems like it has a lot more paint.
And the broken glass?? Lol
The doors are painted on the body. No manufacturer does what you "guessed"

More likely replaced glass, fixed door with bonds instead of lead
The dealer? Bonds? Lead?
I can see a dealer body shop just respraying a door and not blending the colour into the adjacent panels.
I was assuming a factory door replacement.

I called on body shops for over 20 years as a rep for 3M’s Automotive Aftermarket division and my main customers were painters and body techs.

Each color of Factory paint has different paint codes, sometimes 2 or 3 in the same model year for one manufacturing facility. They are listed sometimes on the door sticker or cross referenced by VIN in each aftermarket paint companies software. This is to make it easier for the the collision aftermarket painters/body shops to match paint but it’s still half art, half science. A good painter at a body shop can easily fix it so hopefully your Ford dealer has a recommendation or their own quality body shop with a seasoned painter who cares. It won’t be cheap for both sides of the vehicle, at least a few thousand dollars to do it right.

Bondo (reg tdmk) and nowhere did I suggest dealer had anything to do with this. It came that way on the truck so unless shipping company has a body shop this was done after MAP initial build. They paint entire bodies with matching panels in one shot, not like some luxury companies who bring in body panels painted in different locations.

And broken glass indicates......broken glass, but if it was just from misalignment and catching on opening doors why repaint. This is physical damage to the doors, keyed, dented (hence Bondo and/or lead filler) but damage that required either replacement from stock, fully painted, or touched up after install.

I have a hunch that pulling door panels will reveal a different color underneath⁸

I'll inquire. So on the visibility report, this was "in production-Produced" from 1-4-22 to 3-3-22. It was being looked at by a few people I know, and I saw the report on screen as well. It was loaded on a train the morning of 3-3. I tracked it to the dealer, watched it get unloaded myself. The issue here was 100% at the factory.
check the VIN sticker on the doors to see if they match the VIN tag on the dash. I wonder if the doors were taken off, set aside for some reason, and then put back on the wrong vehicle.
