All good thoughts.Been waiting for a dark metallic green but no one brings it back in trucks. Eruption green is ok as long as it isn’t in bright sun.
Went with silver instead. Should have my OBX by the end of this week.
Here's both colors with the stealth wrap to help you make an informed decision:
My vote is for the green!
green with wrap to tone it down ...silvers great but a tad understatedYes, super subjective I know, but just curious if anyone else has been torn specifically between Iconic Silver and Eruption Green? And yes, opposite ends of the spectrum, I know!
I have great offers on two leftover 2023 Wildtrak editions, just can't decide even after seeing both in person. Would be getting matte/stealth ppf on either, which I think would make the Eruption Green even more unique. I just worry that after a year or two, would I start to think it's TOO green (has this happened to anyone here)? Just from reading some older threads, seems like Iconic Silver doesn't get a lot of love around here, but I think it works especially well on the Wildtrak with all the contrasting black bits.
Happy to hear any and all thoughts! Thanks.
Agreed - isn't this what most pickup camper shells do (i.e. sell them in white and then pick your manufacturer's color to match)?Hopefully the Ford factory rep is reading this string. At some point you need to offer an option to paint the hardtop body color. Seen a few shows where they sanded down the top, added heavy coat of primer and painted it body color.
Complete transformation of the vehicle.
Possible for 2025?
Based on this, why bother with either? Regardless which camp you fall in, both colors have metallic that you dislike — no judgment here, just stating the obvious. To each their own, I've never liked super flakey metallic paints that sparkle in the sun.
