I guess I am old school and believe in something called loyalty
Agreed, but car buying is not what it was 20 years ago and the turn over in sales staff is outrageous. Loyalty is also a 2 way street don't forget.

I have not bought a vehicle from the dealership where my reservation is at but I know I can pick up the phone and call the GM and ask him anything. Same goes for anybody else buying from them.

Gotta love these comments from salespeople who think you can’t research a good deal in the internet age. I helped my mother-in-law buy a car FROM HER SON who is a salesperson but was obviously trying to scam his own mother for his commission. I made a deal on a Toyota Highlander at another dealer and he said that it was a hoax and they’d lose money at that price so it can’t be real. It was $4k cheaper than his best deal. She was sad and told him that she really wanted to buy from him but can’t afford that difference so she’d have to go to this other dealer and see if it was true. Days later after trying to work with him with no progress (she REALLY wanted to buy from her son but it was so much more money), we gave up and were actually going to go get her new vehicle from the other dealer, and he panicked and told her he would match their price cause he couldn’t stand his mom being in a Toyota that he didn’t sell her. I didn’t go in to finance with her cause I’d interfered with their family enough (not a comfortable place being between a mother and son)...and they scammed her out of another $5k in dealer add ons :( I was so mad and wish she would’ve walked out.

He did a similar thing to his own sister who bought a Camry, telling her lies. He told her that if this other dealer were selling them at their price it must have been made at a knock-off factory that isn’t really even a Toyota (do you believe this crap?), and that his dealership only accepts the Camrys from the highest quality factories...and that got her all worried that maybe she was buying a scam fake vehicle or low quality one which is why another dealer could be cheaper. I helped her to show that both Camrys were manufactured at the same plant and that is total nonsense - and that the largest Toyota dealer in our city is not selling “fake” Toyota’s. He literally told her it was probably a cheaper car that they put a Camry body on and Toyota logos. At least in this case we made sure to buy it elsewhere after being lied to, but she still feels bad to be driving a Camry when her own brother sells them and she didn’t buy from him :/

I'll gladly drive a few hours, if necessary, to support an honest dealer regardless of their size.
I just want to make sure I'm understanding this right.

Let's say your local dealer gives you a more-than-MSRP price (let's use $56,000 arbitrarily). If you want them to go to MSRP, say $55k, you'll skip town, go to a further dealer that offers you the $55k, and buy there? And spend an additional $1k in transportation, bringing your purchase price to $56k, anyway?

What am I missing here?

you don’t want anyone from this forum buying from your store because you aren’t intelligent enough to rip us off. lol we’ll have no problem saving our money with these low volume dealers you’re referring to.

We all want the best deal here. Do you just give your money away? You must have a lot of uninformed idiots walking in your door.

how are they offering X-plan when the invoice won't even show x-plan it will only show all other plans
See! That’s the problem with Finance guys... good with numbers and bad with words. Reading comprehension is a learned skill.

My post said that KMF was rewarding both EXISTING and NEW Transfers the “value” (credit) of the X Plan. That means that the money being credited to the X Plan eligible buyers, at KMF, will be coming out of their potential profit. The original post by the OP (Eric at KMF) also noted the way that the credit would be given to the customer.

I have been in the business for more than 6 years and new cars that come out do not have discounts if you want to get a better price than MSRP you would have to wait for 2022 year but buy a left over 2021 model.

So I can't get on your list to buy all of those leftover 2021 Broncos that you're going to have?
