I have it cranked down where the top spring is fully compressed. I will definitely need a heavier spring. Waiting on a recommendation from King.

4dr Badlands here, Kings with fronts set with 0 added preload and the rear is set from the factory, looks like 2” of added preload. It’s sitting slightly nose high (1/2”) and this is with nothing in the back “stock”. Hopefully I’ll get around to adjusting the rears.
For those with Kings how do your front CV angles look? Inner driver seems pretty steep to me.

Have you put many miles on them yet? It took a couple of weeks of driving, but mine settled enough that I ending up adjusting the front preload about 4 full rotations to level it out.

Good point, I have no more than 100-150 miles on them. I suppose I should just drive it for a few hundred miles and put it through its paces before adjusting the rears.

The rears will need adjustment regardless. I had to replace the lower spring and might change out the top tender as well

the fronts might, depends not the weight you have on that bumper

I should probably mention that mine is a 2-Door and I have a winch on the front, so that could be why it settled so much. I haven’t touched the rear springs, but it may be different with a 4-Door.

I put at least 1000 miles on them before I adjusted anything.

Ordered Kings for my 2-door BaseSquatch. Have the fronts in-hand. Waiting on the rears. Am I gonna regret this? I too was this close to buying the ICON billet UCAs until heard they don’t clear. I have Zone UCAs currently. Wondering if that will clear the kings. Might have to got the @popo_patty route and go Icon tubular or RPGs.

Take a measurement of the amount of thread showing (preload) and double check with King that the lower spring has enough travel. Really don't want to go solid on the lower spring.

I have already upgraded the spring and the preload is not set at about 1" and I am sitting somewhat level (See Pic Above). I will be changing to a heavier tender spring soon to keep it from being so compressed.

I can attest that my SPC UCA's and Kings clear just fine. I'm running 37's and have to run spacers until I get 0 offset wheels as the Resi's are quite large and dont have enough hose to relocate. Where King wants them doesn't clear the 37's. Everything else is great as far as clearancing.

I have the RPG UCA's and have had not clearance issues. I have -12 offset wheels and KM3 37's. I don't have any rubbing on anything. The resi hose is very, very close to the inside of the UCA's however.

Took another photo today in the light. The fronts have settled a touch but the angle is still about as much as I can’t stand on the lowest setting. I have more room to go lower in the fender well as I jumped it and the tire didn’t come close to touching the fender.
The rear is going to need a touch more preload as the sagging is real with gear in the back. Whole thing rides very stiff still. I let PSI out of the tires to 28 but the steering became very heavy, I inflated back up to 38 PSI and then the ride was extremely rough. I’m currently at 34 and it’s not great but it’s a compromise. Going to add a touch more caster on Tuesday to see if that helps my loose steering
Also adding a rear trackbar adjustable if it arrives in time from Metalcloak and see if that helps as well.
I currently have the compression to 3 clicks from max soft out of 30 total clicks and it’s still a brick if that gives you an idea how stiff it is haha.
