Hey All

This is my 1st Ford -'25 Bronco in Marsh Gray, liking it so far but what is with this paint quality? Dealer said they will take a look when their specialist is there next week. Not sure how I feel about repainting panels etc on a brand new car.

WOuld you get this fixed?

Nope. Same issue. Having it repainted is like playing Russian Roulette.

Ford build quality is garbage. Made in the USA means nothing.

I had the same thing on my '22, mentioned it to the dealer when I picked it up...but didn't let them touch it.

I own two Toyotas and a Mazda, very happy with the paint on my 22 carbon gray Bronco. Something like this on the bottom corner is not worth worrying about. After your first door ding you will have long forgotten about this.

If it bothers you, Have them fix it. They can repair paint now like you'd never know there was a problem.

If I paid 70k for a car I'd make them fix it, they need to do better

Just leave it alone as it's minor cosmetic and not worth getting refinished as the new paint won't likely be as durable in the long run. Still pretty sloppy work by Ford. For the money they are charging for these, the attention to detail should be much better.

I had some minor bubbles in the paint on my bronco. I wasn't about to accept mediocrity and live with the imperfection for the several years that I plan to own the vehicle. I paid way too much to let Ford off the hook and take too much pride in what I own. I took it back and had the dealer take care of the problem. It went out to a local paint shop and they took care of it but it took about three weeks due to the shop's existing work load and the dealer paid for the rental that I had which for almost a month was not cheap.

My 22 has the same bubbling and orange peel on the door bottom corners and rocker. Annoying when I noticed it when it was a few weeks old, but that's the (lack of) quality we can come to expect from auto makers these days. You'll come to ignore it.

I would pick an auto body shop you know and trust and have them pay for the repair (obviously have them agree in advance). I would not let them take control of the repair...will likely be a horrible repair.

My local Ford dealer has a good body shop. They repainted the right side of my 02 Ranger after I got a light side swipe a couple years ago. Most of it could have been rubbed out but the other car's insurance adjuster indicated the whole side should be repainted along with a couple dent repairs.

They matched the old paint very well. You can't tell is was repainted. I take care of my paint very well so it was in good condition but still old.

I would have it repainted. That would really bother me. I even rub out desert pin stripes after my wilderness trips.
