Raptor pricing increase

So I got a call from my dealer this week telling me my 2022 confirmed Bronco Raptor order is being converted to a 2023 order, they sent me the new build and for the same vehicle price increase is about $5000 more for 2023 then my 2022 order, asked if they would honor 2022 price and was told if I don’t want to change to 2023 to just cancel order, has anyone else had this happen?

Yes I had the same price increase on my order. Still unclear if Ford will offer any type of price protection. Maybe a rebate of some kind. Doubt it will be the full 5k

I believe because you switched to a Raptor it disqualifies you from price protection.

I didn’t switch to a Raptor my 2022 was a Raptor order and then because Ford wasn’t able to build it in 2022 it was switched to a 2023 order and same vehicle build but a year newer is $5000 more

Will be curious to see if Ford offers price protection for 22 raptor orders they forced to be switched to 23. I feel they should for Early reservation holders

I’m already committed to $10k over msrp and was surprised when I also saw Bronco Msrp for same build go up $5000

Don’t worry about the $5k increase they are probably going to add $20k to the price as ADM when they receive it anyway. All the Bronco’s have gone up a good amount. It’s interesting you say you just had a raptor order. Your dealer must have had an allocation and nobody with a reservation wanted it.

I already had a badlands order with them and they called me in March and said I could convert to a raptor order if I wanted to pay $10k over sticker, they had 5 allocations, then they called me this week and said only 2 of their allocations were going to be built and that it was getting moved to a 2023 model year Raptor, they sent me the new build which I had to sign, provide them and email address and a phone number as well as a copy of my license so Ford could confirm it was a real order, then I received an email from Ford that my 2023 Raptor order was confirmed, I currently have a cyber orange Wildtrack

You are still getting a very good deal in my opinion. 15k over your original MSRP is pretty good from what I have been watching. Ford Performance vehicles historically don't offer any price protection. In this case, your dealer is correct. When I get Braptor sticker shock, I just look at how much a Yukon Denali costs or the New Escalade and I feel like I am getting a deal on the Braptor.

Was just curious thought that was a big increase year after year, I know I bought my wife a 2023 Yukon XL Denali Ultimate this week for $100k, prices are getting out of control

It’s 5000 more. It is what it is. If you’re getting it for MSRP, you’re still getting a great price considering most dealers are charging 25-75k markup. I’m getting my Raptor at MSRP and I’m stoked to get one. Gave up price protection on my 2 door BadSas to get into a Raptor

But you had an initial order or reservation correct??
