It what ever the stock Badlands/sasquatch has from the factory.
I was suggesting the Detroit as a solution. I'm not sure if they even make one for whatever Dana is in the ass end of the Bronco.
I've got one in the Dana 60 in the ass end of my F-250. Works great!
But a selectable locker is better...if it works...

It's a warranty claim. I shouldn't have to buy an aftermarket locker for one I've already paid for when buying the vehicle.

Ya, that was a feeble attempt at humor on my part.
If that thing was hit hard enough to bend the flange or shaft...there would be all kinds of evidence on the rim/tire, probably the body.

It hasn't worked since day 1. Long before any off roading.

Well, we are on 4 damaged part arriving from Ford and 1 that simply doesn't work.

@Ford Motor Company I've been paying for features over a year now that I can't use. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THIS!!!

I just had my solenoid fail as well and the part is on backorder. Hoping to locate one and have it expedited.
Any luck with yours?

My part took almost 8 weeks to come in. The locker works in garage and local testing. I need to get it on a trail to truly test.
Do you happen to have the part number yours needed? I'm curious if it was the same as mine.

Well, had my first service visit today. I kept getting drivetrain dash light errors when trying to turn on the rear locker. Went to the dealership today and they say there is a solenoid in the rear end assembly that is malfunctioning. Good news is that the read end is still fully functional, just not the rear locker. Bad news is that this part is not in stock and they had to do an emergency order for it. No ETA of course. Guess my wheeling will only consist of 4Lo, the front lockers, and sway bar disconnect for a little while.

Annoying, but glad it's not something wayyyy worse.
UPDATE: After 14 long months of ownership and 5 differentials that arrived damaged (5th one just didn't work), we finally have a rear locker in my Badlands w/sasquatch. Ford finally just sent a whole new rear end assembly.

When you take delivery of your broncos, make sure everything works prior to leaving the lot.

I accidentally cracked the plastic part of the locker actuator while doing my gear swap. Ford could not find a listing of only the actuator without the actual locker. But spicer sells it . Just an FYI. It was less than $80.

Took 3 or 4 days to get.;)

mine is already fixed, but this is the piece that would arrive damaged in each incident. Ford really needs to address adding this as a part orderable through them or address how they ship their differentials.

This is very easy to damage especially when shipped with the entire locker. 100% should be offered by Ford as a separate repair part.

Thought I would post the part number just in case someone else was in your shoes. If that happened to me even under warranty I would have spent the $80 to get it fixed.

I’m having an issue with my front locker now. I would try and engage it but it shows up as gray color on my dash. The rear indicator is orange and definitely engaged, but the front indicator is gray and not working.
Is that a sign of a bad solenoid or coil? I haven’t crawled under it yet to see if it’s just unplugged.

Shame on me I never verified that my rear locker worked when I took delivery.
I went to engage one of the goat modes and the rear locker error message displayed on the instrument cluster.
Dealer is looking into part availability and advice from the Ford engineering representative.

I'll update once the dealer provides an ETA on parts.
I'm ordering an ARB diff cover for them to install when they put it back together.

I suggested that Spicer has the part available......dealer won't install under warranty or warranty the part or installation if we go that route.

I can wait, It's not my daily driver.
