Just a FYI for anyone traveling from out of town. Rubicon is closed as of this morning 9/9/22 due to the mosquito fire. Check with Forest service or Eldorado County for updates.

Well if the fire does run into the Rubicon trail, I hope it burns up a lot of the white flowers

You guys don’t get a break. I was up at the Caldor working aftermath stuff last year, devastating. We were going to hit up the sierra’s on Sunday, looks like a pass.
