We recently received communication for our Bronco allocation for the month of September. This could be helpful for you regardless of where you purchased your Bronco to get an idea on production flow.

To Recap

26 - Initial Allocation (+2 Mannequin Units)
43 - Second Allocation
5 - August production of First Editions (scheduled this week)
30 - September production (+1 mannequin unit)
107 Production commitment in total.

So we've received 104 of our 203 total retail orders allocated to us +3 stock/mannequin units.

That leaves 99 units of production left for the month of October and November in 2021. This makes sense with the increasing production rate of the plant and I've been reassured that we will get our entire 2021 allocation estimate production in 2021.

The final 3 months of production are going to be very FE heavy. We have 42 First Editions and have 9 total produced up until this point. So if you have sasquatch/lux package and not first edition, my uneducated guess is that the chances of your vehicle being produced is slim as a 2021 compared to another lower trim without those options. They are going to need to allocate a lot of those commodities to the FEs that need to be built. I've also been told if you are FE no need to worry about yours being produced in 2021, it will get built.
Interesting. I am a 07/14 res holder. Loaded Wildtrak. I got my VIN, window sticker blend date 06/25. Its now in Transit. I know there must be 07/13 res holders behind me now. It doesn’t make sense. I do have an f150 under extended lease. I wonder how ford has chosen “who goes first”? I am not complaining and I feel very lucky. Interesting.

I am so totally glad that is not true! My Wildtrack has just about everyhing - MIC top, tow pkg, Lux, and I'm sure I missed something but anyway baring a train wreck or wrong turn at Alberquerque while heading to the west coast I should have mine in 2 1/2-3 weeks via rail!
not true for 7-13/14 res and priority/vip but for the rest of us it is

Also no need to wait to switch to a soft top. Any new vehicles scheduled with soft top will be September production and include the hard top prep kit.
First thanks for the info. I am a 7/14 reservation and switched to a softop 3 or 4 weeks ago and stilll have not received an email. Sounds like I have zero chance of getting scheduled before September. I also have Sasquatch and Lux. I wonder if there is any point in keeping the soft top on there

???

Your math is right. But they are going to be producing at least 200 vehicles per shift with two shifts per day 5 days per week, plus a Saturday shift starting after Labor Day.

So, they'll have 800 vehicles produced in under two days.
Well that even better... Thx

So I already know things are not running true at Ford rn but what do you guys think of my chances. I ordered on 5/24/21 (reservation was made about 2weeks prior) a carbon Grey 4 dr Ob w/ Sas, High package ,Soft top, Towing & 2.7. The order was changed from mic 2 weeks ago. I dream of a 21 but assume it will be a 22. I’m taking bets for a delivery date.

question ... will MIC tops will be available in 2022? I don't care about the painted tops as they are heavier, harder to care for and more expensive.

I think he means that Zach expects Granger will be getting their allocation of 203 units. It just won't be orders 1-203. Ford will skip builds they can't produce and move down their order list. A four door soft top Big Bend might be order #302 and get produced instead of Wildtrak order #110. That Big Bend would count as one of Grangers 203 allocations for 2021.
It is not necessarily that Ford can't produce them, but that they don't want to. For example, it appears that Ford will be skipping a bunch of 7/13 reservations in order to build nearly identical 7/14 FE reservations instead. I guess FE reservations have become the latest round of "priority" orders.

Ford wants to make and sell every car that they possibly can, that’s how car manufacturers stay in business.

As a 7/14 Granger reservation holder (70/200), I plan on 99’ing my order if I don’t hear something within the next two weeks as I have no interest in a November/December delivery for a 2021 MY vehicle.

I want to take delivery ASAP. Would really like to keep my MIC Top (I live in Chicago) that’s the only sin I have my order is 4 door BB 2.3 mid, with lockers reservation date of 7/28 order date 1/23. Any chance of getting a my21 without switching to a soft top. I am at a dealership that has about 40-50 orders and only 9 built to date 2 of which are their demos.
Hey, that's similar to what I ordered: BB, 2.3, 4DR, Auto, Mid, Tube Step, MIC, in Velocity Blue. I ordered from Granger and was lucky enough to get a VIN.....my last known build date is the Friday 08/06.....hopefully you'll get yours built soon!

You took my post out of context, but I don't blame you for wanting 2022 instead.

Yes, they will be the only hard top available in the 2022 model year.

FE is a one year vehicle, they have to produce them, so they were prioritized. Think of them as a sort of specialty unit.
