Should sports teams influence color choice?

Sooner Fan. I hate orange. I refuse to own anything orange. I have 50 pairs of athletic shoes and not one has a spec of orange. I will not eat off an orange plate. I will never purchase a Badlands because it has orange badge and interior. I hate shopping at Home Depot. I turn off my TV when the Thunder wear their orange uniforms. If any super hero wore orange I'd root for the villain.

Here is an idea for Seattle fans. This was painted before they started using the lime green though. Probably would not use these colors today.

As an Oklahoma State donor we have a lot of orange around the house. I like bright colors on fun vehicles and if Ford put the new Raptor Code Orange on the Bronco I'd consider it. Hopefully on the Warthog in a few years.

Nothing good comes in orange. Burnt orange, the brightest orange, Tennessee orange, you get the picture.

As an Ohio State graduate I didn't even consider the AMB I ordered as even a thing to be concerned with. It has the MIC hard top, carb gray trim, and black interior with hints of CO. This didn't give me pause. However, I can see where fans of the team up north may be able to slap on a maize M to make it work on game days.

The one color combination that I will never come close to owning in any way shape or form is black and yellow. I bought the TaylorMade RBZ Black driver online. I was disgusted to see the head cover was black and yellow. That went right in the trash. I even took a Sharpie to the yellow accents on the bottom.

Hi all. So over the last few months I’ve been pretty confident my order was finalized. Carbonized grey badlands with MIC top and the optional wheels. MGV interior. The most Color matched bronco available at this point. The front grill and matching top along with the beauty ring plus the paint color seem to be the only build my wife and I could agree on.

She liked Area 51 originally but with the large % of orders being that color kinda makes us think everyone will have it. Plus it’s not my favorite with the badlands greys. Her only color demand was simple. NO BLUE. This is not a surprise to me because the same was stated when picking our house color.

This week something happened...... those events with the antimatter blue 4door started posting pics and boy does that color look good! So much that she’s on board with a switch. To her that’s a “navy” no so much a blue. Whatever. But now that I have a choice I’m not sure what to do.

My hesitation with switching is a vain one. I live in Florida. And though I have no ties to any college teams I cannot get out of my head I’m considering a blue truck with orange trim. Around here that means one thing..... Gators. I have friends who are die hard gators fans and the thought of them referring to my truck as gators colors just makes me sad. But how do I separate the link to the team when choosing these colors? Should I just stick with the carb grey and be happy? Oh that orange trim! I wish all black interior was offered throughout. I’d be antimatter blue all the way.

Cactus Grey Bronco for the Raiders, Truck Silver, Audi silver, Buick Silver, house painted grey and black. So yes, Im guilty lol
