I’m running 35s with the 3.73 gearing saving for Dana axle swap. I’m running Radflo 2.5 coilovers giving me about a 2in lift. I plan on doing changing both drive shafts to this but which one would be recommended to do first, the front or rear?

Usually the shortest one because it will see the higher angles in operation.

Our FDU is pretty much solid, mounted on a bushing for pretty limited movement up top. So even though the front is shorter it doesn't see much, if any angle like a solid axle would.

Same here, surprised not to see a double cardon on the T/C side.
In the late 1980's I put a 4" Skyjacker lift on a Bronco II. The cure for the rear driveshaft (stock was a CV style like the 6G) was an exact copy of the Gen 1 Bronco. I ran the stock driveshaft for a month with the 4" lift (Skyjacker sent the wrong length shaft) and it didn't vibrate at all but the CV joint at the T/C would get very hot as it just couldn't take the increased angle.
I would see if Tom Woods has an answer to the CV style driveshafts yet. If not, they probably have some soon.

On my third rear driveshaft. No lift (stock Sasquatch). CV by the tcase is always what lets loose on my 2dr. I am watching this thread to see if the Spicer shaft holds up better.

dont buy spicer from BB...he's not their favorite vendor for lots of reasons and gets his stock delivered last. Toms off road is fast and has stock. And they are closer to you.

This is a real problem, I've seen others post the same as well. mine did the same thing. Ford did offer a replacement driveshaft in a recall, however they screwed up and did the WRONG driveshaft...the front never fails because it doesn't move. IMHO @Ford Motor Company got this WRONG so bad, they built the replacement recall part for the front when it was supposed to be built for the rear. some idiot read the report at ford, that likely said" front boot failure " and they took that as the "front driveshaft" by mistake. My dealer tech seemed baffled when swapping my new front (recalled) driveshaft in place as the original was perfect, yet the rear was obviously throwing grease.

Maybe if enough folks complain or ask for a warrantee rear driveshaft, ford will realize how bad they screwed this up.

I'm not sure it matters. I ordered from BB and it drop shipped from Spicer. I'd look for the best price because at least in my case BB was just facilitating the sale. I didn't see it on Toms when I ordered.

Personally, I avoid purchasing anything from BB.
