Don't want to create a panic, more like, if you're in this window, just keep an eye on it and if you notice coolant level dropping or milk shake looking oil, get it into the dealer. This is maddening, thanks for the heads-up.
Lolll no they are not... Saw as many or nearly as many 5.0 f-150's as I did ecoboost (current gen motors early eco-boosts excluded) on the lifts when I worked for a dealer... most ecoboosts needed cam phasers or something stupid, the 5.0's were usually dropped valves or something else tedious. The v8 engines seem to be problem free, just saying

The 5.0 in my '19 F150 had cam phaser solenoids replaced before the 20K mile mark....Lolll no they are not... @Ford Motor Company will be happy to look into this for you...… so like can I just take mine to my dealer to confirm that it’s fine? I’m not exactly car savvy and I don’t want to miss something. Or how would I check this myself?
Coolant level was right at min after sitting in the garage over night.Check the level on the coolant reservoir (level indication lines on the side of the reservoir). If the level is good you should be OK. If the level is low pull the oil dipstick out and get a look at the oil on the stick. The appearance of anything milky colored would indicate coolant in the oil.

Oil looked like this:
So mine looks normal for 1000 miles in? Sorry, I am like the least vehicle savvy guy. I admit my incompetence in this area lol.Affectionately known as "The milkshake of death."
It will literally be milkshake colored and possibly foamy, depending ....
Yep. Yours looks normal. A slight gasoline odor in the oil is normal for a direct injection engine. So mine looks normal for 1000 miles in? Sorry, I am like the least vehicle savvy guy. I admit my incompetence in this area lol.
The dates @flip posted were "production" dates, not engine manufacturing dates.Mine was built the first few days of June. I just got it last week. I guess I need to find when the engine build was?
