My guess would be, just from owning other Fords, where the lining changes in the back is where the door itself will sit, then factor in any 'plastic' that is protruding from the interior of the tailgate. That's my thinking, how far inset is the rear door. Aman is the man, risk taker!
Awesome man, way to be sneaky. Their first mistake was leaving a bronco lover alone with itThe rep was off talking to journalists, so I took advantage of the moment.

Looks like the swing gate will not take any of the cargo space away. So 20 to 21" should be it.With the tailgate closed, isn't that about 18"? Really hoping you can squeeze an extra 1/2" because that would fit my RTIC 65
Same! I have a Yeti 65 and have been hoping for weeks I could squeeze it in there. It would be absolutely perfect for me if I could wedge it back there without folding the seats down. If the tailgate door eats up a couple of inches, I am worried the angle of the seats will keep it from fitting. The bump in from the latch mechanism shouldn't be an issue as we should be able to just push our coolers to the far passenger side to avoid it.With the tailgate closed, isn't that about 18"?
