I reserved on July 14 2020 (early morning) and I expect my Bronco to built on July 12, 2021.

I decided to share a video to share my thoughts...

In the video, I will tell you why the 2021 Base Bronco 2-Door is a price hack and a fantastic deal relative to the Jeep Wrangler, the 4-Door, and to other trim levels.

I will review build and price and show you my exact build including my window sticker. I will also show you why I think treating the Bronco like a Lego set to upgrade over time makes sense.

you have a similar take on the base model that i have. the packages have some nice options but bang for your buck the base is a home run. one of the first things i noticed was there were only dark colored wheel packages... something i am not a fan of, so they would be changed.. as you went to higher level packages, it just seemed like the price took off. i will be keeping it simple. mine was ordered as a base 2dr, mt, 2.3, carbon gray with the only add on being a switch panel... $ 30,190...

I am not into that yet. But I will probably be tempted after doing the Rodeo. That is OK, I am not not likely to do anything to my daily driver that would risk damage.

I figure I can do it over many years. For me the anticipation is part of the fun. I can get the bronco then shop for a second set of wheels and tires over 6 months, for example.

Base is Best.

I do not want vinyl seats in Phoenix
No need for heated seats in Phoenix
Leather also sucks in Phoenix.

Has to be a manual or I'm not spending good money on it.

Fewer electronics the better. I'd pay extra for an electronics delete honestly.

The one serious drawback to the 2Door base is the itty bitty tiny fuel tank.

Solid viewpoint. I struggled with wanting to take advantage of the value of the base. In the end I decided having exactly what I wanted from day one and not spending valuable hours upgrading was worth it to me.

Solid video. I would have gone base, but they took away the manual option for the 4 door, making the Big Bend the lowest option available. Also really considered the base 4 door mansquatch, but will have to wait and see if the stiff the base 4 door on the manual option again with that...
