Those With Past Fuel Pump Failure, What Engine, Mileage?

I know that this has been an issue for a while. Is it something that happens when the engine is fairy new, or later on? Ford states they think about 10% of the approximately 850,000 will experience failure. I got the 2.7L with 40K on mine, so I hope there is some trend going. I don't want to drive in the slow lane for bailout forever.

The results are going to be scattered. If you’re that worried I’m sure you can look up all the past fuel pump threads on here. Personally not something I’m going to let worry me though.

The odds are it’s not going to happen to you. Park it if you’re that concerned

Ford states they think about 10% of the approximately 850,000 will experience failure.

They estimate 10% have the defect. But the defect may not necessarily cause a failure.

The calculated failure rate is 8.9 R/1000 after 10 years/150,000 miles. Which is engineering speak for 0.89%.

Mine was a 2021 2.7 with less than 10k.

From the R&T article I read, it was 850,000 total Ford Vehicles being recalled. Approx. 110K of those are Broncos. It also said they don't have a fix yet, so no reason to get worked up about it until they reach out, IMO.
