I've done a little searching here on as well as googling it but I have not found more than the following information.

Both Badlands wheels, including the optional wheels, wheels have a +55 offset. The stock Sasquatch wheels have a +35 offset so that Ford could clear the upper control arms with 315's and as many know the crash bars are also removed on the Sasquatch for clearance. I'd like to put the Badlands optional wheels on my Sasquatch, using my 315's until the next tire replacement. I am getting mixed information on the Optional wheels with 315's rubbing on the upper control arms with no lift or level kit. Has anyone had this problem? It's my understanding that a lift or level kit will not help with control arm rubbing which makes sense to me. If 315's on a Sasquatch wheel is an issue I may just wait until I need tires and consider a size like 285/75 x 17 which is about 1.2 inches more narrow than the stock 315 Goodyears. 285/75 x17 seems to be as close as I can get to the 315 diameter as it is about .6 inches less. I've checked 295/75 x 17 and it does not seem to exist, but it would almost be dead on the a 315 diameter. Am I correct that a 295/75 x 17 does not exist? Thanks for your help.

I believe you are correct, I've never seen a 295/75. Have you considered a 35" x 10.5"? I ran them on my non-sas BL for a bit w/o issue.

Looking to do the same thing. I have a SAS Big Bend but I am looking at a different set of wheels though, the Big Bend stock wheels but same offset as your optional wheels and I will put the OEM 315/70R17 territories on them.

There are a few folks here who have done this without modification and have had zero rubbing. one person here I know of that has done the same thing, and has some great videos about the subject is @bmiller. He put a set of Black Diamond steelies on his SAS Badlands and used the 315 territory Sasquatch tires with no issue, no spacers were used either. He has since moved to a different tire (I believe Toyo?) but same size as the sasquatch tire. Sounds like it is a fantastic tire too.

There are a ton of differing opinions on this so it is really hard to know for sure but Brian has a bunch of videos of his rig on some pretty rough roads and it seems it works really well.

I guess every truck could be different as far as how it sits from the factory, but for me, I will be going that route here pretty soon and don't think there will be an issue throwing the OEM 315 territories on +55 offset OEM wheels on my SAS equipped Bronco.

The 315s on +55 will no doubt fit but it has been documented here on the forum that you be EXTREMELY close to rubbing the UCA, like within 1/2". Probably fine around town but I'd be concerned wheeling.

315s are too wide for my tastes. Ford put those tires on purely for aesthetics.

35x11 or 35x10.5 are the way to go.

I agree with you there, Iā€™d like a narrower tire myself. I havenā€™t seen many 10.5ā€ wide but Iā€™d love to get something like that.

I did look at them briefly. The swing to a larger diameter and significant decrease in width was what I was not sure about wanting.

I agree on the 315ā€™s. A little too wide for me also.

Also have the Badlands optional wheels.

35x10.5r17, 35x11.50r17, and 295/70r17, 295/75r17 all work. 305/70r17 also works... but it's a little too close for me. 315/70r17 and 35x12.50r17 is very iffy. Really depends how "knobby" your tire tread is. 90% of the time when driving around town it's fine, but off-road it could definitely kiss the UCA from time to time.

Personally I think the "sweet spot" is 35x11.50r17 or 295/75r17. The latter size is very rare, but there are a few solid tires sized 35x11.50r17, including Toyo Open Country A/T III, Falken Wildpeak R/T, and Nitto Ridge Grappler.

The Falkens in particular have caught my eye, but they are brand new and hard to obtain at the moment.

I did consider some of those other sizes. The 295/75 x 17 May be a phantom.

Mickey Thompson also has a LT255/85R17 Baja Boss A/T that is pretty nice pizza cutter 35" tire. It is a load range E tire though...

Right, another consideration would be when you are aired down off road, you'll see more sidewall deflection than in normal driving so you could have some rubbing in certain situations there.
