Been trying to figure out if the Braptor needs a level kit for more aggressive 37's or 38's or that is just some folks preference? I don't see much of a rake on the stock vehicle and simply want to go with more aggressive 37's, so what is the purpose of a levelling kit and is there a preferred brand?

Leveling trucks is mostly for looks. Young guys seen to like the look of a leveled truck. I hate it, but I'm old. Carrying a load in a leveled truck gives it that squatting look like a dog taking a dump.

Just my opinion, though., and it's worth exactly what it cost you. You do what you want. It's your truck.

IMO a level kit for a Braptor on 37s is purely for looks. A level to run more aggressive 37s on a Braptor isn't required.

Personally I don't understand "leveling".
The rear springs are fairly soft on off road vehicles, as soon as you put any gear in the cargo area you are going to eliminate the ever so slight rake.
No one deserves Reverse Rake!

Thanks, does the "level" kit actually level it or is that subjective? Does the Braptor look pretty level without it?

Not if you have the extended warranty. Gives them reason to deny a claim…however unrelated it may be to the level install

Not 100% level IMO, but close. Certainly subjective. From what I have seen the Braptor rake is similar to the regular Broncos...+/-2" of rake. As mentioned above, once you level you then start going the other way when loaded up.

based on actually using a level mine is. I run 1.5/1 which moved the front up 2 1/2 and the rear 3/4. Whenever I get around to putting my winch on, the front should drop a little from full level.

You don't like a good Carolina squat?

Fun Fact: The Carolina squat is no longer street-legal in North Carolina, at least.

I levelled one of my previous vehicles, a Chevy Silverado. I rarely used it for hauling anything and just liked driving a larger vehicle. It's just an aesthetics thing for some people I suppose. I don't have that same desire for my Bronco though - I don't even notice if there's a bit of a rake or not. 🤷‍♂️
