I am also still undecided. Maybe build and price will help:) Logically for me the 33 would work best as I will be doing a lot of pavement, but that extra 1 inch of clearance might come in handy off road. Probably if I went 35 I would never really end up using it.
Same boat...I love the stance of Sasquatch but have absolute zero use for any of what its designed for. I might just get 33s on it and save the $4k

I’ve seen Jeep guys discussing 3.21/3.73 gearing on 35s as well. So running 33s or 35s on 3.73 gearing won’t damage or over stress anything?
I been running 35” with 3.73 gears from the factory. 2012 with 85,000 miles. I run Moab slick rock, Aspen mountains, Arizona desert and sand on a 4 door with steel bumpers for added weight. Ball joints still original. And I only have 5 speed auto.
YMMV

It won't hurt anything, just makes driving miserable, and tanks fuel mileage. 3.73s in an automatic jeep on 35s (JK) is tolerable. in a manual it is awful. On the JL, the stock 3.45s aren't enough, even with the 8spd auto. People do it and live with it, either because it's still "ok", they don't want to spend big money on new gears, a new front carrier and the install, or because they haven't driven one that's geared correctly.

My experience also. JK autos on 35s are ok, if you have 3.73s.

Good to hear then. That definitely tips my scale to no squatch for the time being.

Running 35s on a 2015 JKU with 3:21 gears and a five speed auto (and no lockers btw). It's really not that bad. It can still do trails just fine. See attached vid. Also just towed a 3500 lb trailer through the Colorado mountains. I'd rather have lower gears but it still works fine.

With that said, I'm gonna Squatch partly for the lower gears on the auto. May end up on 37s. Even if I don't the lower gearing is nice to have in other situations also.

Nothing will break, the larger gears just multiply your torque. The 3.21s even with stock 32s are slow to accelerate. With 35s it is a very bad experience. However, the 3.21s are very common gears in JKs, and MANY of the lifted Jeeps you see are running 3.21s and do so just fine.

3.73s give you about 20% more torque to the wheels, and 4.10s another 10% on top of that.

I personally ran 3.73s with 33s in one Jeep, and 4.10s with 35s in another. Both Jeeps were adequately powered to safely drive on the road, pass people, accelerate onto an Interstate, and had plenty of power for off-roading activities.

I'm going with Wildtrak! 2.7 ( which I have heard is going to be available in a 7 speed manual. Later Release )35 inch tires and extra clearance! Has everything I want. Except I want to upgrade bumper to add more accessories! Not sure I care for plastic bumper even if it has fog lights!

The day you pull into a parking lot and a Squatch parks next to you, you'll wish you got it.
