TSB for subwoofer rattle issue, 23-2241

Brought my 23 in for another repair and they checked the subwoofer rattle. Came back with TSB 23-2241 for the rattle. I searched on here and online but don't see it mentioned anywhere so I thought I would pass this along since many have posted about it. Parts are on backorder.

So my 2023 Wildtrak with B&O built before moarch of 2023 qualifies, so can I have the dealership do the repair under warranty? Do I just make an appointment and tell my sub rattles sometimes?

Yes, but they won’t do it unless they can verify that it’s an actual problem on your Bronco.

My panel has blue 1 piece fasteners instead of those white 2 piece ones that everyone reports issues with. I wonder if those clips being 2 piece are causing this. My 2D was built in April with the deleted sub, though.

Also, interesting to see that there's a spot for a clip at the 90 degree bend toward the door jam, but this doesn't show it being replaced. When I took my panel off, I thought I lost that clip, but I guess it just doesn't exist?

I mentioned it when I brought mine in a couple months ago because the rear window tinting was bubbling up. I was told they would verify it when I brought it in to replace the window. Apparently my advisor had heard of the issue before and mentioned a tech had seen it too. When she called today he mentioned the TSB, which I was unaware there was one. I also had multiple videos when I was hearing it. So I would get video if you can.
And then playing those back on bluetooth amplifies it by like 100.

I still have a few rattles in my 2dr even after pulling the panel and using killmat all over on that side and putting rubber washers between the sub bolts. I chased 90% of them away but at a certain point even the external fender flare will vibrate on the right note.

I have the very same problem with my 5 door Bronco. It stared to happen 3 months after I picked it up from the dealership. What I ended up doing to get rid of the noise was to stuff a rag on the side panel right by the subwoofer. it’s been 8 months and the noise never came back. when I took my Bronco for service I told them about it. They wanted me to make an appointment and come back another day. I’m going to do it once I’m due for service again. That Rattle was so annoying I couldn’t wait to make an appointment

Had this issue on my 22. I slipped a rubber washer between the body and the back of the sub and tightened it back down. No more issues.
