Ford is going to start a program with dealerships that stops people from reselling their vehicle. So in other words, Ford is saying dealerships that screw over customers by tacking on astronomical ADM ($30K) are perfectly fine, but if you want/need to sell your recently acquired Ford vehicle, you are unable. Can’t wait for us to purchase cars directly from the manufacturer and not these stealerships!

It's not a ban, it's a 1 year agreement... and I'm all for it, at least Bring a Trailer won't be flooded with 50 mile Lightnings for at least a year

I have no problem with that…clamp down on both, but scalpers screw people just trying to buy a vehicle as much as dealers marking up do…every one that is scalped is one taken away from someone who would have bought it at MSRP.

So I've heard. I just don't see it happening with anything else. The GT is a bit higher profile, and when there's so few of them is easier to keep track of them all.

Different story when you're talking 150,000 F150s.

P.S. there's an app called hotstock that will send a notification when a retailer has stuff in stock. That's how I got mine

Nope. I got mine through Walmart but the only way I could was if I bought 2 years of Game Pass. I was going to anyways so when I saw that I jumped on the deal. I found it to be an honest way to keep scalpers away.

The GT embargo was reasonable for a low production supercar sold to celebrities and elites. And yes, Jon Cena(barf) learned hard way.

Like to hear how they enforce this on such a high production vehicle. 200k reservations(can’t wait to see how that goes) and eventually millions of units. Dealers gonna spend the time to hunt these”criminals”down. I think not. People wanna sell their truck let them sell the truck. Don’t see how it’s enforceable with the volume. What if someone loses job? Can’t get out of truck payment? Cmon. Workin mans truck. Not a supercar.

I had to sign an agreement to not resell my Road King years ago. Definitely not something new and should have been in place from the start with these Broncos.
