I believe FoMoCo does reach out to blown 2.7 owners, just not on the @Lucchese thread. I think if someone posts their 2.7 died on the thread, they receive a DM.

With all the reports with several 2.7L and few 2.3L blown engines, should I still be happy that I changed my order for the incoming Bronco from 2.7 to 2.3 or are the risks equally high with both engines? I really wanted the 6 cylinder but because of all the initial issues, I changed the order to 4.

I pretty sure Ford has gone through those bad batch of bad valves. I hope from here on out there 2.7 motors SHOULD be trouble free .
