I like that all my choices are made for me, they knew that first Edition buyers probably didn’t want to be bothered with “extras” like roof rails, and racks. So they just took all those silly choices away. And the designers also felt that having to make a decision on interior colors would be too mundane, So they made it for you.

cheers.

It's a combination of Outer Banks, Badlands, and Wildtrak.

It gets the luxury stuff from Outer Banks.

It gets the offroading prowess from Badlands.

And it gets the whining, entitled prospective owners from Wildtrak.
It does not get color matching hard top or door handles. etc..

What is unique is that starting price. Made me reserve a Big Bend, then upgrade to Black Diamond. More power to the crowd of 7,000 that got to pick one. I am happy with my $50K capable ride.

What will FE reservation holders get?

They will get their Bronco before the rest of us (maybe by a week or so as FEs will be built and shipped first).

Other than that, not much else.

Has this actually been confirmed by Ford?

Even is they built all 7000 FE first, which they won’t, it would take at least a month to build them all.

I heard they will produce around 800 per day once they get into full production! And it makes perfect sense for them to "practice" on the FEs that have every almost every available option.
Still, I don't think anyone knows for sure, but why wouldn't they produce the FEs first? After all, they have said that they will be building based on the timestamp of the reservations, with the caveat that they might move some reservations in order to have production efficiencies. Since all the FEs were reserved the first day, it would still be possible to build out all the FEs first and stick to what they have said so far.

Correct, 700-800 per day at FULL production. Plant runs 5 days a week. It will take weeks to get to full production though, gonna be a trickle at first. Commodity availablity will determine production, no way they can build 7000 FEs in a row. Other trims will be mixed in based on what parts are on hand.

Only 7000 produced.
Only 5 exterior color choices.
Only 1 interior color choice.
Only $3500 more than a comparable Badlands or Wildtrak.
Only Bronco to have a FE badge.
Only Bronco to have FE decals.
Now with all those only's
doesn't it qualify for the special name of "First Edition" ?
All kidding aside, I would have kept my FE reservervation, but the blue interior just wasn't for me.
