Does this mean that wheels for the current Ranger are basically interchangeable? (same bolt patter, offset, etc)

Looks like the steelies may actually be shared across the platform (which makes sense).

I already came to the conclusion that non sas wheels are +55. In short, the answer is no. Although with a BL lift you may be able to squeeze a slightly larger diameter but that’s mostly because BL is 32.7 not 33.0”. Anything beyond maybe 33.5” on BL is too tight to predict without testing in person. ...Unless you want to cut into or remove the crash bars....the OBX has 0.7 less lift than a BL and the absolutely tightest I’m seeing on paper is is slightly narrower tire (11.0 vs BL 11.2) at 33.2 dia. That’s a 275/70/r18. I haven’t toggled through upsizing 17s but don’t think you could go beyond 33.5 dia while keeping a 11.2 depth on a BL suspension.
So Duratrac 295/70R17’s are a maybe:

Very good info here ....thanks to RedDawg for crawling under and snapping a pic and Rubisqatech for doing the math

Time to get a little closer on the right wheels

Now can someone verify a 16 wheel will clear all calipers

Method happens to make a 30 mm offset in a 16

That offset is SUPER annoying. Import wheels are barely that high. What was Ford thinking?
Not sure I understand. Offset number isn't relative between vehicles and only relevant to calculating aftermarket wheels. Ford could have put a +100 on it and as long as the engineering allows for suspension and brake clearance and lines up with the body, it's irrelevant. -55 offset is a pretty good sweet spot for steering neutrality and bearing life. Ford is also bound by regs to not have tires poke out past fenders. Hence the ugly Sasquatch abominations.

Sasquatch wheels will almost certainly be a +35.

anyone know how to match wheel and tire size to the "Rear Axle Ratio"? Is there a formula or something? maybe a chart/table?

When you look to the Raptor, it's wheels are +34mm offset where a stock F-150 is +44mm.
So I'll guess Sasquatch wheels have a +45mm offset.;)

I was looking at putting Toyo AT/III's in 35X11.50R17 on these wheels (just a hair wider than 285s). Looks like I would be fine width wise clearing the arms. Probably will need a 1" or 2" lift to fully clear for diameter.

This post is way too smart for me :geek:. So, what’s the widest/tallest wheels (17in wheel) and tires can I fit on a Big Bend without lifting the Bronco.:sneaky:

Exactly, WHY did they make the offset so high??

Ive been noticing the fact that none of the Broncos in person have the stance or presence that they do in the CGI images on the Ford site.

I know the offset on the wheels in these "pics" is nowhere near 55, more like 15-25....

These tires are flush with the edge of the flare, if not outboard.

That is not the case in real life. All the Broncos have the wheel/tire well inboard of the edge of the flare.

And the "Optional" Badlands wheel is DIE CAST and made in China?? Yikes.

In my opinion, the stock wheel and tire combos are really disappointing across the board.

Id take the 285 KO2s on the BD steelies over anything else, but Ford wont let me.
