... Man, you should see my tire comparison spreadsheets. ;) )
I laughed ... and then realized I filled 2 or 3 pages of hand written "notes" doing exactly that!
A 16" page and 2 pages of 17" ....

I've heard a lot of love for Toyos, here and at work, so I'm glad they make that 35" C rated tire.
I'm gonna give them a shot no matter which size I go with.... Open Country 3 All Terrains.

You know you're in deep when you have a column for "Tread Depth" (that's where those C rated tires will get you!)

;)

But those super light 33" SL rated version too !!!!
Light, but a few 16th less tread depth.

If only I could remember family members birthdays and other such shit as easily....LOL!

I run the following
Ford Bronco Who has switched to Load E Tires (10ply)? 1628261498847

They feel a little heavy but do drive nice on the street. The tread is nice and aggressive for off road.

There is a member here who runs E rated Nitto Ridge Grapplers (35s). He needs to chime in. I can't find him right now. He is guy that has the green viper in the background in a few of his post.

Yes they are heavier, more puncture/rip/blown bead resistant. And the ride quality is purely dictated by tire pressure. Just because the sidewall says you CAN run 60+PSI doesn't mean you should. On the 4,500-5,000lb bronco I'd say around 30-32 PSI will be about right.

I have Es on my truck and love them. I think they are more responsive and I worry less about blowing out a sidewall. (I also tow a boat sometimes)

Run 30 PSI in mine

Our second vehicle is a F250 Tremor with E rated 35s aired up to 55 PSI in the front and 78 in the rear. The ride difference is night and day.

You must be towing a lot to keep that much pressure in your SD. I’m off road a lot in my 3/4 work truck with minimal weight , run 40psi. Nice smooth ride. The suspension takes the big bumps, the tires take the rest.

I run E rated tires on my F150 as I am driving over cactus and mesquite every week on the ranch. I upgraded from crappy C rated tires and my ride quality went up, not down. Don't let the load rating be your deciding factor, look up the tires and read reviews.

The BFG 315/70R17 on the Raptor are C rated. BFG makes an E rated in that size, but I would never want it on a Bronco.
Honestly the ride with 315/70r17 E tires is great. The Bronco does an amazing job of absorbing bumps. As an example there are railroad tracks that we cross nearly everyday. In our Tremor (Goodyear 35s E rated) we slow down and are bucked around a bit. The Bronco just floats over the tracks.

I have no regrets with the load E tires on the bronco. Again, KO2s which have great road manners and nearly zero noise.

Been running E 35" BFG KO2's on real beadlocks for 48K now at 28-30psi. Smooth as butter. The key is proper PSI and a decent suspension.
