I always find it kind of odd when a couple owns matching vehicles if it's some generic crossover or something. Enthusiast cars make more sense.

My wife wants a moardoor now. So I guess you could say we still would only have one Bronco. 😁

Well from what I remember way back your Bronco was built more for the fun side of things and would suck as a regular driver (I just remember tires with 55 mph speed rating).

In this case I can see the two Bronco case, one built for play and one for everyday.

Oh I swap those out for play days. It's still my daily. It probably wouldn't make a great daily if I had multiple young kids though.

Question is Why not have more than 1. I tried but timing was off and couldn't afford both. They both came a year earlier than I expected. Could only keep one.

So, I am now a 2 Bronco Family as daily drivers. We actually only have the 2 Broncos (and my motorcycle). Both 2 doors!

Short story:
I snagged a demo 2 door OBX November 2021 as a replacement to my J**p Wrangler 4 door and LOVE/LOVED the Bronco. I reserved a Bronco July 2021 and ordered a 22 then re-ordered a 23.

My ordered Bronco finally got built so we sold the wifes SHO and bought my reserved/ordered Bronco Badlands basically because it made more financial sense (used vehicle values sky rocketed again) and I was super tired of the SHO. She took the Outer Banks as hers and I took the new Badlands. She is driving the OBX and if she gets tired of it/decides she wants something different, we'll trade it in for whatever she wants.

Long version/reasoning:

I'm 6'3" tall and weigh 300 pounds, so I'm large and wide, LOL. I hate climbing out of vehicles and hate the B pillar touching my left arm/shoulder. The 2 door Bronco is very roomy and comfortable for driver and front seat passenger AND drives very nicely. I snagged the first Bronco and was in love! the 4 door Bronco isn't nearly as roomy due to shorter front door. I don't want a 4 door AT ALL.

The wife had an SHO w/moonroof (actually our 3rd virtually identical SHO) as her daily driver and I was frankly tired of it. My head was constantly touching the headliner even with seat back all the way, down all the way and leaned back some. SUPER ANNOYING. Plus I had to climb up and out of it and the B Pillar was in front of my shoulder which is also SUPER ANNOYING. So I was hoping she was going to like the OBX and be OK with us selling/trading in her SHO and driving the Bronco as a daily.

We were able to put huge down payments on both of them so if/when the wife wants something else, we will have huge amount of equity for whatever she wants to buy. So far she's happy!

Sometimes I want to go to Home Depot, but my wife wants to go to Costco, at the same time. How we going to do that without two Broncos - duh!? ;)
There's a hole in your logic. This scenario requires 4 Broncos, you'll need 2 at each store to fit everything.

Gratuitous pic...

Best argument for 2 Broncos that I've seen so far.

Thinking about starting a Youtube channel where I continue to destroy Bronco's by driving like an idiot, hoping to collect a fan base who applaud me for testing my Bronco's "to the limit". Thinking of a catchy name like BroncoBroken. Thus two Bronco's one being a back-up when I roll or Bust the first one.

I've seen several husband and wife teams who each want one. Sometimes a 2 door and a 4 door. Personally, I'd like to spread the vehicle capabilities (e.g., one 4x4, one sports car, one more practical ride). But some folks like the same car.
