you guys are dreaming if you think vehicles will be on the lot in Oct 2021. Ford won't even start shipping until mid-summer is my guess.
you realize this was posted in July and correct to the info at the time?

Well, your post wasn't correct 'at the time' and it is much less correct now. The $100 refundable deposit was an extremely low-cost, zero-risk option at the time which is actually worth quite a bit now to those who didn't listen to your wisdom. The people you said could grab a Bronco on the lot in October 21 for a $3k discount will now have to pay $5K+ to buy one from us reservation holders.

Shortly after people have their Broncos, there'll be plenty of lightly used ones available at a discount, just like almost every other vehicle, except for very limited production vehicles like a GT.

I'd argue that in the days after the initial wave of early orders this was in fact a true statement. Who knew that that high demand would maintain a high level of orders for months, that production would be delayed by several months, and that the model year '21 would be a much shorter run than expected. Things change.

I agree with you NOW. Gonna be a long time before anyone buys one straight from dealer stock.
