This was Don Davis Ford in Arlington. The service ticket is a lot to type so I’m just gonna post a picture here. DM me if you want to know the service advisor’s name. I just don’t feel like putting his name on a public forum

My window is fixed!!! No longer catching at all. It's sitting even now and flat the weather seal on the top and sides also.

The window is adjustable at the regulator itself. There are two bolts holding the glass in. There's half an inch of play on each one that goes up and down. Mine had to be lowered on the part of the glass towards the left, if you're looking at it from the outside. Once that was done the opposite side was raised a bit. It works great now.

Also, if it is sitting in or out too much, under the door panel at the bottom of the door are two nuts that can be loosened and the bolts sticking through can be moved to adjust the entire regulator un and out.

So you are saying with the window lowered, the top of the glass needs to be parallel to the door seal correct? I just went and looked at mine with the windows fully lowered. The drivers side was higher in the front than the seal and same height in the rear. The passenger side was parallel with the seal. Looks like Ill be pulling off my door panel this weekend and trying to get it adjusted better. Can anyone with a 2 door take a pic of the window down so we can see the window height compared to the seal? Thanks for the information!!!!

Thanks for the update guys. Now that Ford has an official bulletin I scheduled with dealer to drop off tomorrow. I’m gonna let them have a go at it before I do. Can’t take it anymore, I cringe every time I open a door.

I didn't take a before and after of the glass itself but in my case the glass was sitting very slightly uneven and it was making the left-hand side grab the seal and shake violently when opened. I can't speak for everyone's vehicle but there's enough play in that window attachment that you can probably adjust it however you need to.

I've attached several shots of the door panel and door itself.

When you say left hand side grab the seal, do you mean the window was off height wise front to back or in/out wise? Much appreciated!

Look how in the video it looks like the front of the glass is higher (Same as mine) than the rear and that is what looks to be hitting.

It sounds like @Sywnn106 has all the information on the fix. Do you want to start a new thread there Scott, Like Mark suggested above?
I will do it later this afternoon. I'm on the way back to the office right now.

Think you could post a quick video of how great it works now? All 4 of my windows suck but two are have a horribly violent shake to them when opening. I want to set my own expectations on what is normal after the dealer does their thing!

I did the same thing with mine. Same window and the same problem. Thank you for the pictures and showing this.
Better than letting the dealer do it.
