The thing with the GG LineX coat is that it covers only the top and sides, and if you notch it and don't coat the exposed edges with something to prevent moisture the birch could suck water. OTOH, if the notched areas are going to be subjected to situations during which they may end up getting wet, water will most likely end up under the platform as well (there is a gap all the way around it)...and the underside of the platform is not treated. For just damp stuff being on top of the platform, sealing the notched edges with something should suffice to keep water intrusion at bay.Those are the ones, yes. Appreciate it. I don't have any flex in my cargo panels up against the tie downs / floor. So I'm thinking you're right, a notch would have to be made. Which is probably relatively simple...unless that leads to lineX failure.
