Don't get me wrong, I like the new Bronco, but reading this thread ... some of you guys are getting rid of some nice fun vehicles. I'd have a hard time getting rid of that TJ. Get a bigger driveway?‘97 with 14k miles. Clean title. Grease pencil markings still on the frame from the factory. Sold it in September.
Ouch. My R32 was incredible in the snow too. I took it to Mammoth and Tahoe all the time. Here it is with 17" Audi RS4 wheels and Nokona WRG2's. Unstoppable NA AWD car, that had so much torque. So fun to drive, and huge oversized brakes. I have scars from my race bikes...@Roll Sound whats up my VW -> Bronco person!
In June, a pickup crossed into my lane and hit me nearly head on totaling my 2010 Jetta Wolfsburg edition! A few days after that I placed my reservation! That was a fun car and I gotta say it kept me (mostly) safe in the accident. Still got my VW scar on my forearm lol.
It was a good car and served me well, but I’m not exactly missing it now that I have my Bronco! I do miss the manual a little tho
First of all, love the marauder. I unloaded my super-chargered 89' XR7 last year. I sorely miss that car - they only made about 2,000 of them with the manual shift. With some minor bolt on's, exhaust and a tune it ran like a raped ape. Showroom with only 16,000 miles.... I sold that to make room for an 01' TJ Wrangler. This thing is also awesome and may have a hard time selling it, although my wife has a say in that. Nothing will replace my true joy though....Curious to see what your Bronco is replacing in your garage. I almost didn't convert my reservation because I didn't want to part with my DD 2003 Mercury Marauder. Took me 7 months to find the right one. One of 417 in Silver Birch.
Hoping my 2DR Basesquatch with be so awesome I don't regret it.
